Introduction
FTS uses databases from a combination of
government and private contractors, and merges them
for the Flight Management System (FMS) data that we
provide. Our navigation data provides
en-route and terminal GPS navigation and updates on
the same 28 day schedule as the AIRAC
(Aeronautical Information Regulation And Control)
cycle.

According to the Aeronautical Information Ma nual,
AIM 1-1-19b3(b) Database Currency (1) In many
receivers, an up-datable database is used for
navigation fixes, airports and instrument
procedures. These databases must be maintained to
the current update for IFR operations.
For the highest fidelity in your flight
simulation experience, FTS's flight navigation
database provides this same level of currency that
the FAA mandates for IFR flight.
