The FTS1000 simulator is not a hack of the real Garmin G1000 simulator.   Garmin's simulator cannot connect to X-Plane.  Our simulator was re-engineered from the ground up, freeing us from licensing and other legal ramifications with Garmin.    Some features of the real Garmin G1000 are not available on the FTS1000.   For a list of limitations, please view our operations manual.
