SimAVIO is the runtime software needed to display
any of our add-on panel packs: i.e. Analog panels, FTS1000,
Avidyne, and FTS530/430.
SimAVIO is a stand-alone software program that may or may not run
on on a separate computer from X-Plane using a network connection.
SimAVIO simulates the aircraft cockpit in a 2 dimensional view.
Though not required, the view looking outside the cockpit may be displayed
by X-Plane on a second monitor. By dedicating an entire
monitor for the cockpit, gauges and avionics can be life-size with sharp,
ultra-high resolution. Although it is preferred, using a dedicated
monitor for your instruments is not a required configuration. Users
can overlay the SimAVIO window on top of X-Plane's visual window on one
shared monitor.
In short, SimAVIO is ideal for aircraft simulation enthusiasts and
professionals that would like a higher degree of resolution and fidelity
than one can achieve with X-Plane's standard cockpit displays.

Retail users are delivered a runtime system with panel editing,
aircraft configuration and multiple monitor layout facilities. In
addition to the panel modifications available in the retail license,
commercial users can go one level deeper to create, modify and
compile their own instruments using
Instrument Builder.
Panels can be configured to start up stretched over multiple
monitors with a transparent or filled background. This makes
SimAVIO able to render instrument panels for most flight simulator
home builder enthusiasts and professional training device
manufacturers. Additionally SimAVIO panels can be configured to
run with instrument bezels and knobs hidden if the trainer
configuration requires.
SimAVIO
is usually purchased with panel sets representing a class of aircraft
from a specific manufacturer. There are panel sets for Cessna NavIII
G1000, Cirrus G1 and G2, Cessna Corvalis and other aircraft. Each panel
set contains a superset of the instruments required to simulate the
aircraft class and layout files. Layout files configure the instrument
position and background to a specific aircraft can be simulated.
This pricing is for a Standard Retail-use license. In other words, it
is for NON-Commercial, NON-FAA approved flight simulators. Our software is used
in many FAA approved AATD flight simulators. If you would like pricing for

After submitting your payment, you will receive a second email with a link to
download the 30MB installer. There is no delay in this process.
After you have completed the installation, email us to receive an unlock code
that allows X-Plane and SimAVIO to communicate. Within 24
hours, we will send you the unlock code after payment has been confirmed.
Without the unlock code, you can still run SimAVIO in demo mode.

OS X - X-Plane Plugin. Use a Macintosh for X-Plane and a Windows PC
for SimAVIO. The latest release of SimAVIO is required before the plugin
can be used. SimAVIO is a Windows PC only program.
