Fly a simulator at EAA Airventure 2015

Our biggest Oshkosh yet having two booths in our favorite position in Hanger C. We showed off our flagship product, the new TouchTrainer FM 210, along with the Robinson, Standard, VX and VM TouchTrainers. The FM 210 was an immediate success selling well on the first day and drawing interest from the flight schools and colleges that visited.

Customers to our booth at AirVenture 2015 saw the full range of our products featured in the first part of this video.

The new TouchTrainer FM 210 went down very well. The visuals drew very large crowds, professional trainers and instructors commented that the the visuals were really exceptional, just what they need for skills training, particularly landing. The main goal of the design of the FM 210 was to add skills training to our TouchTrainer line up.

The montage below shows from the craziness of building the booth to the equal craziness of trying to handle the traffic.

Even though we had six FlyThisSim personnel there on occasion it was impossible to deal with all who needed information personally, thankfully we were rescued by four great customer booth volunteers. TouchTrainer customers Alex Stanton, Henry Fiorentini and Valetta along with Thomas who writes the X-Plane blog who saved the day(s).

We attracted not just the grown-ups, but also the youngsters who would dream to become a pilot one day. During the event, we held the first FlyThisSim 'Kids Camp' where for one hour every morning our resident flight instructors Chuck and Peter gave introductory flight lessons. It was a great success and will definitely have a camp in Palm Springs at Flying Expo.

As usual we sold many TouchTrainers at the show including pre sold show specials ( for those who can pick up a TouchTrainer from the show floor on the last day of the show there are always exceptional prices).

As always our goal to get to the point where no one would consider training in or owning an aircraft without owning or access to a simulator. Thanks again for the great enthusiasm.
